There is also room to hear about the image and how it was prepared, so feel free to offer some details.
Image files should be a resolution of 100 ppi and 600 pixels on the longest side. Please save them as a JPEG at Quality 11.

I used the Smudge tool to create the color surrounding the face. It looked like water so I went with that. I used the Ocean Ripple filter, placing a photo of weathered rock under the layer of "Water" to create a "Bottom" to the water the face now appears to be floating in. I used the Smart Sharpen filter on the eyes and the Hue filter on the nose to lessen the redness.

The bright rings of colors come about by letting the sun shine on a CD and reflecting it on sheet of white card. I photographed the reflection.
The CD was shot separately as was a printed circuit board from an old TV. All three images were put together.
The CD was twisted with the transform tool and the circuit image put over it in screen mode.

This photo started in colour but I thought black and white would give it more impact.
I converted it with Channel Mixer, trying several combinations of settings to give the best set of tones.

I found this wonderful building in London while on holiday.
I made the image with duotone and blue.
I copied the image and inverted the colours.
I changed the mode to Difference and put the two layers a little out of register.

Historic lighthouses and all down the east coast of the States and everybody shoots them.
I wanted this one to look a bit different so I boosted the colours with Hue/Saturation followed by some more changes in Selective Color.
