How it was done

A new image will be added to this Photoshop Gallery every month.
All will have been given the Photoshop treatment, some only a little, some a considerable amount and involved many hours of work.

Tricks and techniques are all very well, but ultimately it's all about the image. An image might require only a slight tonal adjustment to make it 'perfect', or to completely convey the photographer's intent. Another might require the use of eight originals and two days' work.

The vast range of programme facilities and goodies are merely a means to an end and should not become a obsession in themselves. They can be fun to use and experiment with and there can be a constant search for better methods, but in the end, the viewer has to judge to resulting image and nothing else.
